Overview
Lead design and production of residential tract homes in Northern California. Oversee drafting teams and ensure code compliance. Manage complex projects from concept to closeout. This role drives innovation and efficiency in housing development.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and develop residential tract home floor plans elevations and architectural details
- 2Create cost-effective designs meeting project objectives
- 3Coordinate with engineers and consultants throughout the design process
- 4Prepare and approve construction drawings sign and seal plans as Architect of Record
- 5Supervise drafting staff establish quality control procedures
- 6Manage multiple projects from conceptual design through construction support
- 7Maintain schedules and coordinate workloads to meet deadlines
- 8Conduct quality assurance reviews and address field issues
- 9Stay current on California building codes and permitting processes
- 10Collaborate with internal departments on land acquisition and development
- 11Provide architectural expertise at project meetings
Requirements11
- 1Active California Architect license
- 2Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 3Minimum 5 years residential tract home design experience
- 4Proven ability to prepare and sign residential construction documents
- 5Strong knowledge of California Building Code and Title 24 Energy Code
- 6Expertise with AutoCAD Revit and other architectural software
- 7Experience managing multiple projects and supervising teams
- 8Familiarity with production homebuilding practices
- 9Understanding of value engineering and cost optimization
- 10Background in master-planned communities or large residential developments
- 11Excellent communication and leadership skills
