Senior Analyst, Retail Operations & Order to Cash
Overview
As a Senior Analyst on the Retail Operations team, you will own the daily execution of order to cash processes, including customer enrollment, contract processing, billing, and cash application, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will handle complex escalations, drive process improvements, and collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams. This role sits within a 55-gigawatt clean energy portfolio, supporting a mission of reliable, clean power. You will also lead UAT efforts and coach team members, making a direct impact on customer experience and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do9
- 1Resolve system and process issues proactively, collaborating across teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and effortless customer experience.
- 2Drive process innovation by challenging status quo, defining business requirements, and leading UAT with IT to implement sustainable workflow enhancements.
- 3Investigate process discrepancies using analytical expertise, evaluating alternatives and implementing solutions that fully resolve customer issues.
- 4Ensure compliance with business, contractual, and regulatory policies, aligning workflows with SOX key controls.
- 5Monitor internal system functionality to identify issues and variations, articulating improvements that align business and technology objectives.
- 6Execute order to cash activities including customer enrollment, contract confirmation, billing, cash application, and third-party payments.
- 7Coach team members through testing activities, supporting their development in system enhancements.
- 8Manage escalated customer issues by selecting and executing appropriate corrective actions to drive resolution.
- 9Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support change management and knowledge transfer across the organization.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 9 years without degree.
- 2Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- 3Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders.
- 4Ability to analyze large data sets and reason through complex scenarios to suggest action.
- 5Proven relationship-building with internal and external customers.
- 6Strong analytical, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
- 7Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- 8Excellent organizational and time management skills, with accuracy under tight deadlines.
- 9Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive resolution with minimal oversight.
- 10Experience in retail energy or regulated/deregulated markets, CRM or order to cash systems, UDC/ISO/LDC EDI transactions, SQL, and Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
