Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Semiconductor Wafer Fab Operator to join our growing team in Torrance CA. You will operate and maintain wafer fabrication equipment while ensuring quality control and meeting production targets. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to improve processes and maintain a clean environment.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment including photolithography etching deposition and ion implantation tools
- 2Monitor and control wafer processing parameters to ensure consistency and product quality
- 3Perform routine maintenance cleaning and calibration of tools and equipment
- 4Inspect wafers for defects measuring thickness resistivity and other parameters
- 5Record process data and equipment performance for production and quality control
- 6Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate problems to senior technicians
- 7Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols in a cleanroom environment
- 8Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements
- 9Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to resolve production issues
- 10Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to strict safety standards
- 11Support shift operations by completing assigned tasks efficiently
Requirements11
- 1U.S. person status verified for export control compliance
- 2High school diploma or associate degree in semiconductor technology or related field
- 33-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom settings
- 4Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes and equipment
- 5Ability to follow detailed instructions and work precisely
- 6Strong problem-solving skills for basic equipment troubleshooting
- 7Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- 8Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- 9Manual dexterity for handling small components
- 10Attention to detail with focus on quality and safety
