Security Officer, Warehouse Access Control & Gate Security
Overview
Own access control and on-site security for a fast-paced logistics site in Santa Fe Springs. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, log visits, and respond to incidents with calm, solution-focused actions. What You'll Do7
- 1Build secure access at gates, docks, and entry points and document activity to site procedures
- 2Observe inbound and outbound traffic and log deliveries and access events
- 3Respond to incidents with calm problem solving and escalate concerns as needed
- 4Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access
- 5Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while following site policies
- 6Maintain visitor and contractor logs and direct authorized personnel to designated areas
- 7Support emergency response activities and comply with all safety and security protocols
Requirements9
- 1Two years of security-related experience or more
- 2Valid driver’s license in accordance with policy requirements
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4Access control or badge experience preferred
- 5Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred
- 6Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21+ for armed roles
- 7Background check and drug screen as required by law
- 8Licensing requirements may apply based on location
- 9A valid driver’s license required for driving positions
