What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to clients visitors staff and individuals accessing government-operated shelter settings while following site-specific security procedures
- 2Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances common areas and perimeters to identify and report unusual conditions
- 3Monitor access points and assist with visitor staff and contractor entry procedures according to site requirements
- 4Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations calmly professionally solving problems notifying site personnel and emergency responders as directed
- 5Prepare clear accurate activity logs incident reports and shift documentation communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts
Requirements5
- 1New York State Security Guard License
- 2At least one year of security-related experience
- 3High school diploma or GED
- 4Age minimum eighteen years for unarmed roles twenty-one years for armed roles
- 5Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
