Security Officer Part Time Library Patrol, Government Facility

What You'll Do4
- 1Build a security routine through regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and entrances to deter incidents.
- 2Monitor access points and verify credentials while maintaining visitor logs and offering directions in line with site policies.
- 3Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem solving manner and coordinate with emergency responders when needed.
- 4Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations with accurate reporting and share information with supervisors and site representatives.
Requirements6
- 1Be at least 21 years of age
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- 4Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- 5Drug screen as permitted by law
- 6Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
