What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public at a government transportation location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies
- 2Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, offices, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations
- 3Respond to incidents, service disruptions, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed
- 4Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor directions and transit-related inquiries, and help maintain orderly conditions at assigned locations
- 5Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements
Requirements7
- 1Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience
- 2Guard card/license preferred
- 3Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 4Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 5Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- 6Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- 7Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
