What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at utility facilities
- 2Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity
- 3Monitor access to assigned locations, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures
- 4Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken
- 5Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts
Requirements6
- 1A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- 2A Guard Card/License is preferred
- 3Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 4Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 5Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- 6Drug screen will be performed to the extent permitted by law
