Security Officer Part Time Energy Plant

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- 2Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
- 3Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- 4Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- 5Document patrols, observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns accurately in required logs and reports.
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- 4Drug screen required where permitted by law.
- 5Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
