Security Officer, Part Time Armed Patrol & Healthcare Site
Overview
Armed security professional will patrol healthcare site to protect patients, staff, and visitors while enforcing site policies. You will work fixed shifts with additional shifts available through a scheduling platform. This role emphasizes reliable hours, hands-on experience, and potential progression toward full-time security leadership within Allied Universal.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service and enforce site policies during security procedures and emergency responses in a healthcare location
- 2Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner coordinating with facility personnel and public responders as needed
- 3Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters
- 4Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity or policy concerns
- 5Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain documentation per site policies and Allied Universal procedures
Requirements7
- 1At least 2 years of security-related experience
- 2Armed guard card or license
- 3Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- 4Virginia DCJS license
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- 7Background check and drug screen where permitted by law
