What You'll Do7
- 1Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by executing site-specific security procedures and emergency response in a healthcare environment.
- 2Respond to incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies with professionalism, problem-solving skills, and adherence to protocols, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- 3Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters.
- 4Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and safety concerns to site leadership or management.
- 5Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately, communicating key information during shift changes.
- 6Maintain a visible and welcoming presence to help deter incidents and support a safe, secure atmosphere.
- 7Carry out site-specific security procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with healthcare facility requirements.
Requirements7
- 1Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles; 18 years for unarmed roles.
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Pass a background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- 4Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
- 5Meet state and/or local licensing requirements for security officers, which may be required before employment.
- 6Have a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
- 7Be able to work a fixed part-time schedule: Thursdays and Fridays, 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
