Overview
You will own access control for a manufacturing and industrial site in Gardner, KS, securing entry points and verifying credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors. You'll join a part-time team under Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, covering Saturday and Sunday midnight shifts. What You'll Do5
- 1Monitor and control access to manufacturing facilities, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate access records.
- 2Serve employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel with clear communication and professional customer service.
- 3Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns per site policies.
- 4Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production areas, loading docks, parking lots, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
- 5Document incidents, complete required reports, and communicate security-related information to leadership and client representatives.
Requirements8
- 1Customer service experience preferred.
- 2CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- 3At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- 4High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5Pass a background investigation as permitted by law.
- 6Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
- 7Meet state and local licensing requirements for security officers.
- 8Valid driver's license for driving positions only.
