Overview
You will own access control and entry point monitoring at a dynamic logistics and distribution site near Commerce City, CO. You'll verify credentials, manage badge access, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents. Working alongside a collaborative team, you'll deliver clear communication with visitors, employees, and drivers. What You'll Do8
- 1Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain visitor and contractor access records using badge access systems.
- 2Coordinate vehicle, driver, and visitor access per site procedures, directing arrivals to check-in areas and flagging access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- 3Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, documenting observations and notifying contacts as required.
- 4Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter, adapting to varying environments.
- 5Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
- 6Support emergency response activities as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- 7Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized access and security-related incidents.
- 8Use Allied Universal's mobile app and scheduling tools to view and claim additional shifts for extra earning opportunities.
Requirements7
- 118+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Customer service experience preferred.
- 4Access control and badge experience preferred.
- 5Loss prevention experience preferred.
- 6Pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
- 7Meet licensing requirements as per state and local laws, and hold a valid driver's license for driving positions.
