Overview
You will own access control and patrol for a logistics site in Englewood, CO, ensuring only authorized people and vehicles enter. You will work a fixed 3 PM to 11 PM shift with the option to pick up extra shifts through a claim-a-shift program, building toward full-time hours if you want. You will join a team of security professionals backed by Allied Universal's training and technology. What You'll Do6
- 1Verify identification, visitor credentials, and delivery appointments at the main entrance, controlling access for employees, drivers, and vendors.
- 2Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and assigned areas, reporting any unauthorized activity to the shift supervisor.
- 3Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation protocols and documenting actions in the daily log.
- 4Conduct regular and random patrols of the building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, checking for breaches or hazards.
- 5Screen vehicles entering the facility, confirming delivery manifests and driver authorization against site policy.
- 6Provide customer service to visitors and contractors, giving directions and enforcing site safety rules as needed.
Requirements7
- 121+ years of age for this armed position (18+ for unarmed roles).
- 2High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Pass a background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
- 4Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
