Security Officer Part Time Inspection Documentation
Overview
You will safeguard a technology, media, and telecom client in Kansas City, MO, screening visitors and monitoring access points. You will maintain accurate documentation and respond to incidents calmly. You will work a fixed part-time schedule with Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday shifts. What You'll Do6
- 1Screen persons, packages, and materials entering the location, escalating prohibited items to site leadership.
- 2Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.
- 3Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and screening documentation using established procedures.
- 4Respond to incidents and critical situations by following site-specific reporting and escalation protocols.
- 5Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, the business, and perimeter.
- 6Provide visible presence and clear communication to deter incidents and support a positive experience.
Requirements6
- 1Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 3Pass a background investigation consistent with federal, state, and local laws.
- 4Pass a drug screen as permitted by law.
- 5Meet state and/or local licensing requirements for security officers.
- 6Hold a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
