Overview
Security Officer L1 at NTT Global Data Centers drives innovation and sustainability in the digital world. You will lead a team to protect personnel and property while collaborating with the Data Center Operations Team. This role ensures secure environments through strict adherence to policies and proactive incident management.
What You'll Do11
- 1Patrols assigned post on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activity
- 2Monitors CCTV and access control systems to investigate security conditions
- 3Ensures daily administrative documentation is concise and complete
- 4Assists with access control audits and badge discrepancy checks
- 5Handles shipping and receiving tasks including shipment logging
- 6Responds to emergencies and coordinates with local services
- 7Investigates fires evacuations and hazardous situations
- 8Guides personnel on security protocols to ensure compliance
- 9Performs investigations of security accidents and interviews witnesses
- 10Maintains familiarity with security procedures and company policies
- 11Operates within a process-driven team environment
Requirements12
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2High School diploma or GED required
- 3Certified Security Guard (CSG) or Certified Protection Officer (CPO) within six months
- 4Active certifications mandated by state regulations
- 5Experience with CCTV systems and access control technologies
- 6Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- 7Valid driver's license and willingness to work weekends and holidays
- 8Strong communication skills for client interactions
- 9Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- 10Familiarity with forklift operation and safety standards
- 11Experience in data center or similar security roles
- 12Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules
