What You'll Do5
- 1Build a safe environment by patrolling buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- 2Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and facility information, and report policy violations to designated personnel.
- 3Provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff and maintain calm, compassionate communication during incidents
- 4Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in line with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines
- 5Respond to incidents and crises, following established protocols and requesting assistance when needed
Requirements8
- 1Be at least 21 years of age for hospital security roles
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Minimum 6 months of security-related experience
- 4Hospital vaccinations required
- 5Access control or badge experience preferred
- 6Background check and drug screen as per law
- 7Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
- 8Must be able to provide professional customer service in a healthcare setting
