Security Officer Badge Control, Access Control & Patrol
Overview
You will own badge control and patrol operations at a logistics and distribution site in Salt Lake City, UT, with a fixed shift plus the flexibility to claim extra shifts. You will join a security team under Allied Universal, the industry leader in security services, working nights from 10 PM to 6 AM. This role offers a stable part-time base with the option to scale up to 40 hours weekly. What sets this apart is the Claim-A-Shift program, letting you control your earnings and schedule.
What You'll Do5
- 1Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response, at a logistics and distribution location.
- 2Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
- 3Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, shipping zones, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- 4Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- 5Observe site conditions and report unusual activity, damaged property, and operational hazards to appropriate personnel.
Requirements8
- 1Possess a guard card or license (preferred).
- 2Have access control and badge experience (preferred).
- 3Have X-ray screening experience (preferred).
- 4Provide customer service experience (preferred).
- 5Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
- 6Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
- 7Pass a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
- 8Hold a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
