What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
- 2Monitor and control access points for a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate entry and exit records
- 3Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel
- 4Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed
- 5Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse access points, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns
Requirements8
- 1Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- 2Customer service experience is preferred
- 3At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 4At least 21 years of age for armed roles
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Background investigation compliance
- 7Drug screen eligibility
- 8Valid driver’s license for driving positions
