As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and professionalism. What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
- 2Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity
- 3Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed
- 4Assist with access control, visitor directions, and observation of entry and exit points in accordance with site-specific requirements
- 5Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures
Requirements8
- 1Customer service experience is preferred
- 2A guard card/license is preferred
- 3Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 4Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 5Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- 6Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- 7Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- 8Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
