Overview
Join General Security Services Corporation as a Security Installation Technician leading installation of low voltage and electronic security systems. You will install cable pathways firestop systems and electronic components while collaborating with a supportive team.
What You'll Do9
- 1Pull and route low voltage cable in commercial environments
- 2Terminate data jacks and install support structures
- 3Build cable closets using MDF and IDFs
- 4Firestop various cable penetration types
- 5Test troubleshoot and document cables using testing equipment
- 6Ensure EPG process flow compliance and client communication
- 7Manage job scheduling and progress with focus on quality
- 8Maintain safety programs and generate improvement techniques
- 9Identify lessons learned and share with organization
Requirements10
- 1Valid state driver’s license with clean record
- 22+ years security industry experience
- 3Associate degree or 2+ years related experience
- 4Knowledge of low voltage and network cabling
- 5Ability to operate power tools
- 6Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Excel Outlook
- 7Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
- 8On-call rotation availability with holiday flexibility
- 9Pass background check
- 10Physical ability to stand walk climb and use hands
