What You'll Do5
- 1Install program configure electronic security systems for commercial clients including door access control CCTV intrusion detection low voltage communication electronic locks point sensors signaling devices and other security systems
- 2Troubleshoot evaluate diagnose integrate new and existing installations to ensure proper function meets industry standards
- 3Run electrical wiring including drilling trenching and aerial runs
- 4Responsible for connection of control panels application requirements wire concealment and security software installation
- 5Maintain company issued vehicle operate safely
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid driver’s license with at least one year driving experience clean driving record no major violations within last 36 months no more than one accident in last 24 months no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months
- 3Minimum level of insurance as required by company policy ability to safely operate company issued vehicle
- 4Minimum two years experience in physical security fire alarm low voltage communication systems including installing devices troubleshooting programming and running medium to large projects
- 5Military veterans encouraged to apply especially those with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technician
- 6Ability to obtain and maintain required state specific licenses willingness to work on call respond to emergency service requests travel overnight as needed
- 7Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office efficient navigation of multiple systems strong interpersonal communication skills for clear documentation and reporting
- 8Highly skilled in troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems proficient with hand and power tools independent or collaborative work ability to meet deadlines physically able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and work at various ladder heights
