What You'll Do11
- 1Ensure high-quality security services to protect people and property
- 2Build effective relationships with clients and guests
- 3Report safety concerns and security breaches verbally and in writing
- 4Handle emergencies according to protocol
- 5Follow site-specific operations and manuals
- 6Greet visitors and assist employees as needed
- 7Patrol facilities on foot or in vehicles
- 8Answer phones and monitor CCTV systems
- 9Maintain defensive tactics and de-escalation skills
- 10Operate radio or telephone equipment
- 11Communicate professionally with the public
Requirements13
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Current driver’s license for vehicle operation
- 3Basic Life Support CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- 4Federal and state firearms qualifications
- 5National Weapons Detection Training Program certification
- 6OC and baton and handcuffing certification
- 7Minimum two years armed security experience
- 8Minimum two years US military service
- 9Minimum one year full-time armed civilian law enforcement experience
- 10Age minimum of twenty-one years
- 11Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment
- 12Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills
- 13Attention to detail and active listening abilities
Salary Insight
$52 - $69k per year
