Overview
You will own the customer experience at a Michaels Stores location, handling checkout, product inquiries, and Omni channel tasks like BOPIS and SFS. You will support truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes to keep the store fully stocked and visually appealing. This role includes cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production. You will be a key part of a team that values respect and positivity, with shifts that include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
What You'll Do10
- 1Deliver friendly customer service, helping customers locate products and providing solutions to their needs.
- 2Execute a fast and friendly checkout experience, handling cash and transactions accurately.
- 3Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
- 4Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey to gather feedback.
- 5Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- 6Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes to maintain store standards.
- 7Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the return/go back process and general store recovery.
- 8Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
- 9Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- 10Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production, and take on other duties as assigned.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
- 2Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
- 3Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
- 4Strength to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
- 5Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.
- 6Must be at least 16 years old.
- 7Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment in the U.S.
