Overview
You will own speech and language therapy for a K-12 caseload in Tampa schools, tackling 50+ student evaluations and IEP goals per year. What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
- 2Develop IEP goals and treatment plans within the first 30 days for new referrals.
- 3Deliver direct and indirect therapy using evidence-based techniques for articulation, fluency, and language.
- 4Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to embed communication supports in classrooms.
- 5Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines in IEP systems.
- 6Lead IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to align services.
- 7Support students with social communication and related disorders through push-in and pull-out sessions.
Requirements5
- 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- 2Active Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- 3CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates encouraged to apply.
- 41+ years school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills.
