What You'll Do7

  • 1Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.
  • 2Develop IEP goals and treatment plans within the first 30 days for new referrals.
  • 3Deliver direct and indirect therapy using evidence-based techniques for articulation, fluency, and language.
  • 4Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to embed communication supports in classrooms.
  • 5Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines in IEP systems.
  • 6Lead IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to align services.
  • 7Support students with social communication and related disorders through push-in and pull-out sessions.

Requirements5

  • 1Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 2Active Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • 3CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates encouraged to apply.
  • 41+ years school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • 5Strong written and verbal communication skills.
