Speech Language Pathologist, School-Based SLP
Overview
You will own speech and language services for K-12 students across Minneapolis, MN, managing a caseload of 40-50 students. You will join a team of 12 SLPs and 3 SLPA mentors, working directly with educators and families. What You'll Do6
- 1Assess students using CELF-5 and GFTA-3 to identify speech and language disorders.
- 2Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- 3Track student progress with data collection tools and adjust interventions based on outcomes.
- 4Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams to integrate speech goals into daily learning.
- 5Mentor and guide students of various ages, fostering communication confidence and academic success.
- 6Document all services in IEP software within 48 hours to meet compliance standards.
Requirements6
- 1Valid Minnesota SLP or SLPA license from the Department of Education.
- 2CCC or CFY credentials for SLP roles (new graduates welcome).
- 3SLP or SLPA school-based experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- 4Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
