What You'll Do7

  • 1Assess students' speech and language needs using ASHA-aligned evaluation tools.
  • 2Deliver direct therapy to K-12 students targeting articulation, fluency, and language disorders.
  • 3Write and update IEP goals, documenting progress with clear data.
  • 4Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate communication strategies into classrooms.
  • 5Manage a caseload of 25 students, prioritizing sessions based on individual needs.
  • 6Provide consultative support for students with complex communication needs, using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed.
  • 7Maintain compliance with Colorado licensing and school district documentation requirements.

Requirements5

  • 1Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • 2Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to obtain it prior to August 24, 2026.
  • 3ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • 4Previous school-based experience is preferred.
  • 5Strong communication, collaboration, case management, and documentation skills.
