Overview
Provide dedicated one-on-one nursing care for a student during the school day at Dempsey Middle School in Columbus, Ohio. What You'll Do8
- 1Administer medication and treatments as prescribed, ensuring student safety and comfort.
- 2Monitor student health status and respond to emergencies or changes in condition.

- 4Communicate with teachers and parents on student health updates and care coordination.
- 5Document all nursing interventions accurately and maintain confidential health records.
- 6Execute emergency procedures and maintain emergency supplies and equipment.
- 7Support the student's participation in school activities while managing health needs.
- 8Provide health education and guidance to the student and school staff as needed.
Requirements5
- 1RN or LPN license in Ohio.
- 21+ year of pediatric or school nursing experience preferred.
- 3Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- 4Knowledge of EHR systems for documentation.
- 5Ability to work onsite at Dempsey Middle School during student days.
