Overview

You will provide direct mental health therapy to students in the Ray-Pec School District, helping them overcome challenges within the school setting. Your work will involve individual, family, and group sessions, plus assessments and crisis support, all while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. You'll work alongside LCSW, LPC, or LMFT professionals in a supportive environment that values early intervention. This role offers a predictable school calendar, no private practice overhead, and access to ongoing clinical consultation and supervision. What You'll Do8

  • 1Provide individual, family, and group therapy to students based on assessed needs and treatment plans.
  • 2Complete initial evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and treatment plans in collaboration with students and families.
  • 3Coordinate care with school staff, families, and other Compass providers to ensure holistic treatment.
  • 4Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within 24 hours of service delivery, complying with agency policies.
  • 5Participate in school meetings to advocate for student needs and provide a mental health perspective.
  • 6Serve as a mental health resource and consultant to school personnel on student behavioral and emotional concerns.
  • 7Support crisis intervention and safety planning, with 24/7 access to Compass crisis resources.
  • 8Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure wraparound care for each student.

Requirements8

  • 1Master's degree in a human service-related field required.
  • 2Valid Missouri licensure as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT (or provisional) required.
  • 3Passion for supporting the mental health of children, teens, and families.
  • 4Ability to thrive in school environments and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators.
  • 5Comfort with full-time clinical role without billing, marketing, or overhead responsibilities.
  • 6Willingness to follow a school calendar schedule, with evenings and weekends free.
  • 7Ability to access clinical consultation, supervision, and support as needed.
