Overview
As a Mental Health Therapist at Collegium Charter School in Philadelphia, you will own therapeutic services for students across grades K-12, driving emotional, behavioral, and academic success. - 5Lead collaboration with parents, teachers, and community providers to align interventions.
- 6Conduct suicide risk screenings and develop safety plans with families and providers.
- 7Participate in the Threat Assessment Team, providing mental health assessments.
- 8Design IEP goals and track progress through regular monitoring.
- 9Contribute to PBSP development and de-escalation strategies for crisis situations.
- 10Ensure confidentiality per federal and state regulations.
Requirements10
- 1LCSW, LSW, or LPC license required.
- 21+ years in CASSP system, child welfare, or school-based settings.
- 3Knowledge of Pennsylvania Charter School Law and School Code for mental health services.
- 4Proficiency in cognitive behavioral techniques and multiple assessment approaches.
- 5Experience with Medicaid systems and the school-based ACCESS Program.
- 6Familiarity with special education regulations and operations.
- 7Strong written and verbal communication for reports and correspondence.
- 8Ability to handle crisis situations with de-escalation tactics.
- 9Clearances: Act 34, Act 151, and FBI Fingerprint (Act 114) within one year.
- 10Meets criteria for employment in a PA public school.
