What You'll Do10
- 1Build and implement clinical procedures and guidelines for therapy services across Tampa and New Port Richey locations.
- 2Lead patient-centered therapy interventions, integrating patients as active members of the treatment team.
- 3Document all screenings, assessments, progress notes, and referrals in the EMR within required timelines.
- 4Collaborate with families, treatment teams, and external agencies to develop and adjust treatment plans.
- 5Supervise Care Coordinators during initial intakes and provide consultation to staff and student interns.
- 6Advocate for patient access to community resources and coordinate referrals as needed.
- 7Drive patient progress by monitoring goals, addressing discharge topics, and arranging outside referrals.
- 8Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions to help patients meet their identified goals.
- 9Demonstrate respect for patient dignity and cultural diversity in every assessment and therapy interaction.
- 10Balance independent work with team collaboration, reprioritizing tasks based on workflow demands.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited program.
- 2Active license as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT, or eligibility for RCSWI, RMHCI, or RMFTI.
- 31+ year of clinical experience in mental health therapy with children, adolescents, or adults.
- 4Proficiency with EMR systems for clinical documentation and patient tracking.
- 5Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
- 6Ability to work onsite in Tampa, FL with a Monday-Friday schedule, no weekends.
- 7Commitment to supervision for unlicensed candidates seeking licensure.
- 8Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and respect for patient dignity.
