Mental Health Therapist, Master's Level, Tampa
Overview
Master's Level therapists deliver individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults across Tampa and surrounding communities. You will own a guaranteed caseload with no office admin, supported by an experienced clinical manager and a dedicated mentor from day one. Work in community settings and via telehealth while receiving FREE clinical supervision for LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure. Earn up to $85,500 based on experience, certifications, and secondary languages, plus a $2,400 orientation stipend and uncapped income potential.
What You'll Do9
- 1Assess clients' mental health needs across a range of ages and diagnoses in the first 30 days using DSM-5 criteria.
- 2Deliver individual and family therapy sessions in community settings and via telehealth.
- 3Document screenings, psychosocial assessments, and progress notes in the EMR platform.
- 4Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and school counselors to coordinate client care.
- 5Advocate for clients' access to community resources and support systems.
- 6Communicate treatment plans and progress to clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- 7Facilitate therapy sessions focused on coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.
- 8Apply evidence-based practices in every therapy session to improve clinical outcomes.
- 9Manage caseload efficiently using time management skills and self-care strategies.
Requirements8
- 1Master's degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
- 2Reside within the State of Florida.
- 3Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- 4Ability to flex hours and travel to client homes, schools, and community settings.
- 5Proficiency in documenting therapy services in an EMR platform.
- 6Strong organizational and time allocation skills.
- 7Compassionate and engaging with a strong desire to help others.
- 8Ability to use self-care techniques to maintain work-life balance.
