School Based Health Center Program Manager
Overview
Manage assigned School Based contracts oversee daily operations of School-Based Health Centers collaborate with school administration healthcare providers behavioral health staff families community agencies to ensure students access integrated medical behavioral health and preventive healthcare services comply with federal state organizational licensing grant and accreditation requirements promote safe student centered environments.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide hands-on direct therapy services including individual or group counseling face-to-face or via telehealth
- 2Conduct thorough assessments to gather and understand clients mental emotional medical and physical health conditions evaluate progress towards therapeutic goals
- 3Identify and diagnose psychological conditions using assessments test results and patient interviews
- 4Develop individualized treatment plans utilize therapeutic techniques intervene in client crises
- 5Educate clients about mental health conditions coping strategies treatment options and self-care techniques
- 6Track clients progress adjust treatment plans maintain accurate documentation
- 7Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments ensure effective management of health conditions
- 8Work with other healthcare professionals such as nurses specialists therapists and social workers to provide comprehensive care
- 9Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings discuss client cases and coordinate care advocate on client behalf
Requirements5
- 1Master's degree in psychology social work counseling or related field from accredited institution
- 2At least 1-2 years clinical experience in mental health field
- 3Experience providing clinical services to adults children adolescents with serious persistent mental illness or substance use
- 4Prior experience working with children and adolescents in school or clinical settings
