What You'll Do8
- 1Set up and operate metal cutting saws per work orders and production schedules.
- 2Read blueprints, measurements, and production specs to determine cut dimensions.
- 3Measure and verify material dimensions with calipers and tape measures to meet quality standards.
- 4Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position materials safely.
- 5Bundle, label, and prepare finished materials for shipment to customers.
- 6Perform routine maintenance and inspections on saws and other equipment.
- 7Use grinders and finishing tools to clean and deburr cut edges.
- 8Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area per OSHA guidelines.
Requirements6
- 11+ years in manufacturing, machine operation, or warehouse environment.
- 2Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and interpret blueprints.
- 3Forklift certification or experience with cranes or forklifts is a plus.
- 4Mechanical aptitude and commitment to safe work practices.
- 5Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shift.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
