Overview
You will own the design and deployment of integration flows within SAP BTP Integration Suite, serving a global aerospace and defense enterprise. Your work connects SAP S/4HANA with third-party applications, handling mission-critical data exchanges. You will coordinate with functional and technical teams across SAP and non-SAP domains, defining governance and best practices. This role demands hands-on expertise in CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh, with a focus on reliable production support. You will join the RTX PST SAP Integration team, collaborating with top-tier professionals on complex, high-volume integration projects.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and deploy custom iFlows using SAP BTP Integration Suite within SAP CPI to address integration requirements with SAP and third-party applications.
- 2Coordinate with SAP and non-SAP teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- 3Collaborate with functional teams to produce technical design documents and integration specifications, capturing decisions and data mappings.
- 4Define BTP governance and best practices, establishing reusable patterns and guidelines for integration development.
- 5Build and manage APIs using SAP API Management and Apigee, ensuring secure and scalable exposure of enterprise services.
- 6Implement event-driven integrations using Event Mesh and Advanced Event Mesh, enabling real-time data flow between systems.
- 7Manage file-based data transfers using Managed File Transfer capabilities within BTP, handling high-volume payloads with reliability.
- 8Troubleshoot production issues across the integration landscape, performing root-cause analysis and implementing fixes to minimize downtime.
Requirements8
- 12+ years developing integration flows in SAP BTP Integration Suite and SAP CPI (or 6+ years without a degree).
- 2Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and BTP including Cloud for Application Interface Framework.
- 3Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues in integration environments, with a focus on data integrity and uptime.
- 4Strong communication skills to interact with functional and technical SAP teams, as well as infrastructure, security, and networking teams.
- 5Experience using APIM tools such as Apigee for API lifecycle management.
- 6Working knowledge of Event Mesh and Advanced Event Mesh for event-driven architectures.
- 7Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required unless local laws/regulations differ.
- 8Preferred: SAP ABAP experience and BTP certifications.
