SAP IBP Solution Architect | Remote Federal S/4HANA
Overview
Own the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP IBP in a federal SAP S/4HANA environment. You will design and implement planning capabilities across S&OP, Demand, Supply, and Inventory Optimization for C5MI's government clients. Partner with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, best-practice solutions. This remote role offers direct client impact and a culture that rewards initiative and ownership.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design and configure Planning Areas, Key Figures, Attributes, Time Profiles, and Planning Operators within SAP IBP to support S&OP and demand planning.
- 2Lead architecture workshops and business process sessions to define future-state planning strategies for federal supply chain operations.
- 3Translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA architecture and best practices.
- 4Architect demand planning, supply planning, and inventory optimization processes to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory performance.
- 5Design constrained and unconstrained supply planning, response planning, and scenario management within SAP IBP.
- 6Oversee integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA using CPI-DS, Real-Time Integration (RTI), and other enterprise technologies.
- 7Collaborate with PP, MM, EWM, TM, Procurement, Finance, and Sales teams for end-to-end planning integration.
- 8Establish architecture standards, configuration governance, and implementation roadmaps; document functional designs.
- 9Support data migration, testing, cutover, and production support activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- 10Mentor functional consultants on SAP IBP capabilities and implementation best practices.
Requirements9
- 110+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience, including significant SAP IBP implementation experience.
- 2Proven expertise in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Response & Supply Planning with SAP IBP.
- 3Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA supply chain processes: PP, MM, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing.
- 4Experience designing Planning Areas, Planning Levels, Key Figures, Attributes, Time Profiles, Planning Operators, forecasting models, and supply heuristics in SAP IBP.
- 5Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA using CPI-DS, RTI, or other SAP-supported technologies.
- 6Experience leading full lifecycle SAP IBP implementations in complex enterprise environments.
- 7Demonstrated leadership guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring consultants.
- 8Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- 9Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
