Overview
You design and deliver bi-directional API integrations connecting an IWMS with SAP (Finance and HR) and ArcGIS for a major enterprise client in Washington, DC. Working within an AWS middleware environment, you collaborate with business stakeholders and internal IT teams to define integration requirements and ensure seamless data flow. Your work directly impacts operational efficiency for a long-term contract. This role stands out for its cross-platform complexity and high visibility.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and deliver bi-directional API integrations between IWMS and SAP (Finance and HR) on AWS.
- 2Integrate ArcGIS with IWMS and SAP to enable spatial data synchronization.
- 3Define integration requirements with business stakeholders and IT teams.
- 4Build and maintain middleware solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
- 5Debug and resolve integration issues across SAP and ArcGIS endpoints.
- 6Document integration architectures and data flow diagrams.
- 7Support end-to-end testing and deployment of integration solutions.
- 8Ensure data integrity and security across all integrations.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience in technical integration or middleware development.
- 2Hands-on experience with SAP integration (IDoc, BAPI, RFC) and REST APIs.
- 3Strong knowledge of ArcGIS integration or GIS data formats (GeoJSON, Feature Services).
- 4Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and CloudFormation.
- 5Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel.
- 6Familiarity with IWMS or EAM systems (e.g., IBM Maximo, Oracle EBS).
- 7Ability to write and debug code in Python or Java.
- 8Excellent communication skills for user and stakeholder interaction.
