Overview
You own test strategy and execution for Salesforce implementations at the state agency level, ensuring requirements are met across integrated systems. You partner with business analysts and developers to define acceptance criteria and drive quality from design to deployment. Your work directly impacts citizen-facing services, with visibility into production stability and release readiness.
What You'll Do7
- 1Own test planning for Salesforce releases, mapping requirements to test cases and executing regression suites.
- 2Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios covering Salesforce configurations, integrations, and data migrations.
- 3Partner with developers to perform code reviews, catching defects before deployment and enforcing Salesforce best practices.
- 4Drive requirement validation sessions with business stakeholders, clarifying ambiguities and documenting testable acceptance criteria.
- 5Track defects in Jira, prioritizing fixes and verifying resolutions across environments.
- 6Lead impact analysis for changes to Salesforce objects, workflows, and automations, assessing cross-system dependencies.
- 7Coordinate user acceptance testing with agency teams, facilitating sign-off and go/no-go decisions.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in QA with Salesforce testing experience, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- 2Proven ability to write and execute complex SOQL queries for test data validation.
- 3Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Provar for Salesforce.
- 4Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and test management in Jira.
- 5Experience with API testing and tools like Postman for integration validation.
- 63-5 years performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards.
- 7Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interviews and documentation.
