Salesforce QA Tester, Hybrid Columbus Ohio
Overview
You will own testing for Salesforce applications at the State of Ohio, defining strategies and executing functional, system, regression, performance, and load tests. You will work with developers and business analysts in an Agile environment, using Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking. This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite in Columbus and an in-person interview. You will ensure software quality across the SDLC while supporting UAT and production releases.
What You'll Do8
- 1Develop testing strategies and detailed test plans for Salesforce applications within the first 90 days.
- 2Create and execute test cases covering functional, system, regression, and performance scenarios.
- 3Track defects using Azure DevOps, documenting issues and supporting resolution with developers.
- 4Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with business stakeholders to validate requirements.
- 5Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile sprints to align testing with development.
- 6Perform load and performance testing to validate application response times.
- 7Maintain testing documentation, including test scripts, results, and traceability matrices.
- 8Support software implementation by validating fixes and conducting post-release verification.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of experience as a Software Tester for Salesforce applications.
- 2Experience creating testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- 3Strong understanding of Agile, iterative, and traditional SDLC methodologies.
- 4Experience using Azure DevOps for test management, documentation, and defect tracking.
- 5Hands-on experience with functional, system, regression, performance, load, and UAT testing.
- 6Knowledge of software quality assurance standards and testing methodologies.
- 7Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- 8Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
