
Salesforce Helpdesk Specialist, LPI Applications
Overview
Own Salesforce administration and end-user support for the city's Licensing, Permitting, and Inspection (LPI) systems, serving 500+ internal staff and public portal users. You'll manage accounts, permissions, and troubleshoot issues across Salesforce and integrated LPI apps. This role bridges technical fixes with direct customer service, resolving issues via phone, email, and ticketing. You'll also document solutions and train users, making you the go-to expert for system questions.
What You'll Do7
- 1Administer Salesforce platform settings, objects, and workflows to support LPI operations.
- 2Create, deactivate, and manage user accounts and permission sets in Salesforce.
- 3Resolve support tickets for internal staff and public portal users, troubleshooting Salesforce and LPI application errors.
- 4Work with phone and email inquiries, guiding users through self-service portal processes.
- 5Document common issues and solutions in a knowledge base, enabling faster future resolutions.
- 6Train new users on Salesforce and LPI workflows, ensuring proper usage.
- 7Collaborate with IT and vendor teams to escalate complex technical issues and test fixes.
Requirements6
- 12+ years administering Salesforce (certifications like Salesforce Administrator preferred).
- 2Experience with Licensing, Permitting, or Inspection software platforms.
- 3Strong technical support skills, including troubleshooting and resolving application errors.
- 4Excellent verbal and written communication for phone and email support.
- 5Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced government environment.
