Overview
Salesforce Platform Developer owns technical guidance and oversight for agency and departmental development teams. - 4Ensure custom development adheres to STS coding standards, governance practices, and security requirements.
- 5Support development across diverse architectures and solution components in multiple Salesforce orgs.
- 6Evaluate vendor deliverables for quality, technical accuracy, and long-term sustainability.
- 7Participate in release planning, code reviews, testing coordination, and deployment activities.
- 8Act as a technical escalation point for debugging, performance optimization, and integration troubleshooting.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.
- 2Expert proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- 3Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security models, and governor limits.
- 4Experience with development patterns for Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud.
- 5Ability to guide and evaluate development work across multiple teams and orgs.
- 6Advanced problem-solving and diagnostic skills for complex technical issues.
- 7Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, version control, and DevOps practices.
- 8Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required or obtainable within timeframe.
