Overview

You will own the preparation, setup, and execution of live aerospace communications demonstrations for CesiumAstro's Skylark product line. Working with the Sales Consultant and engineering teams, you will deploy and operate RF hardware, ground station equipment, and satellite communication terminals in the field. You will bridge technical capability and customer engagement, ensuring every demo accurately reflects system performance. This role offers hands-on autonomy in a fast-moving aerospace environment.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Prepare and configure RF systems, antennas, and satellite terminals before each customer demonstration.
  • 2Deploy and operate ground station equipment and communication hardware at field demonstrations and trade shows.
  • 3Validate system performance and verify equipment operation prior to customer engagements.
  • 4Troubleshoot technical issues during live demos, coordinating with engineering teams to resolve anomalies.
  • 5Maintain and inventory demonstration equipment, ensuring readiness and proper transport.
  • 6Support integration of ground systems with communication payloads and network infrastructure.
  • 7Collaborate with Sales Consultants to align demonstrations with customer expectations.
  • 8Document demo results and feedback to drive product improvements.

Requirements9

  • 1Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Communications Technology, or related field.
  • 25+ years of industry experience in engineering, systems development, or program management within aerospace or defense.
  • 3Experience managing cross-functional technical teams in complex programs.
  • 4Basic understanding of RF communications, satellite communications, or wireless systems.
  • 5Hands-on ability to set up and operate communications test equipment.
  • 6Familiarity with antennas, ground station equipment, or network connectivity preferred.
  • 7Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • 8Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 40 pounds.
  • 9Willingness to travel periodically for field demonstrations and events.
