What You'll Do11
- 1Provide excellent customer service and take reservations using professional hotel language
- 2Accurately input and organize reservation information across multiple channels
- 3Accommodate in-house guest requests to ensure high satisfaction levels
- 4Maintain detailed logs of special requests and update PMS systems
- 5Answer inbound calls and coordinate communications through email and fax
- 6Understand hotel selling strategies and manage room inventory
- 7Process group reservations and prepare detailed guest lists
- 8Control and block rooms including pre-blocks for special groups
- 9Ensure reservation accuracy before and after transfers to front office
- 10Aggressively sell rooms using up-selling and yield management techniques
- 11Know facility details and provide clear directions to guests
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum two years of customer service experience
- 3Previous upscale hotel experience preferred
- 4Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- 6Ability to lift fifteen pounds regularly
- 7Physical stamina for occasional walking and standing
- 8Willingness to sit at a desk for extended periods
- 9US resident or willing to relocate
