Sales Engineer, Building Acoustics & Quoting

Own technical sales support for Kinetics Noise Control's Building Acoustics line, driving specification growth across the U.S. market. Partner with the nationwide sales force, architects, and engineers to deliver customized acoustic solutions. What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver product information and application guidance to the sales force, architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring precise specifications and pricing.
- 2Prepare project-specific quotes for custom acoustic products, aligning accuracy with business margins and customer needs.
- 3Maintain CRM data and proactively follow up on quotations and leads to drive conversion.
- 4Coordinate with engineering, customer service, purchasing, and manufacturing to resolve customer issues and ensure on-time project delivery.
- 5Manage sales forecasts for the Building Acoustics line, analyzing cost structures and recommending pricing strategies.
- 6Build and refine quoting tools and reporting dashboards using Excel and PowerPoint to support quarterly business planning.
- 7Conduct proactive outreach to key influencers, driving product specifications and supporting rep firms to achieve KPI goals.
- 8Develop training materials and lead onboarding sessions for internal teams and reps, using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
Requirements8
- 13+ years in sales support, technical sales, or sales engineering, with a focus on quoting and pricing.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3Strong technical aptitude to interpret product applications and specifications.
- 4Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting, preferably Salesforce or similar.
- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- 6Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and customers.
- 7Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- 8Familiarity with ERP systems and building acoustics products is a plus.
