Safety Technician Reporter to Vice President of Safety Scaffold Resource LLC
Overview
Scaffold Resource seeks a dedicated Safety Technician who will own safety culture across the organization. This role drives safety initiatives through direct involvement and collaboration with key operational teams. The position offers unique exposure to diverse vertical access projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
What You'll Do8
- 1Audit and implement company safety programs while supporting operations sales and estimating teams with jobsite safety
- 2Perform daily site audits and document corrective actions ensuring compliance with established policies
- 3Conduct between three to five audits per day including activity hazard analysis and fall protection planning
- 4Lead safety investigations following accidents and coordinate with risk management for claim assistance
- 5Escort field personnel to medical clinics and facilitate training sessions for foremen builders and laborers
- 6Maintain incident logs and attend safety seminars award banquets and continuing education programs
- 7Collaborate with leadership on strategic safety improvements and proactive risk mitigation
- 8Develop and enforce safety protocols that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Requirements7
- 1Graduate Safety Professional preferred with CHST STSC OSHA 500 certification
- 2Minimum one year construction safety experience with scaffolding industry knowledge
- 3Security clearance for facility access proficiency in computers smartphones and tablets
- 4OSHA 30 hour certification and current first aid CPR certification
- 5Bilingual verbal and written English Spanish abilities
- 6Ability to perform three to five audits daily with thorough documentation
- 7Strong communication problem solving and multitasking capabilities
