Overview

SCT Operations, LLC seeks a Safety Manager / Safety Specialist to drive regulatory compliance and advance client safety culture nationwide. This role focuses on proactive leadership assessment training and incident management.

What You'll Do20

  • 1Conduct comprehensive site-wide safety and health risk assessments to identify hazards and prioritize mitigation efforts
  • 2Promote and enforce construction site and plant safety compliance according to federal state and local regulations
  • 3Lead investigations of recordable injuries high-risk incidents illnesses and near-miss events performing root cause analyses and developing corrective action plans
  • 4Prepare detailed incident investigation reports and track corrective actions to closure
  • 5Support client safety culture through proactive programs systems and performance improvement initiatives
  • 6Develop implement and continuously improve auditing and inspection processes conducting annual safety health and industrial hygiene audits
  • 7Perform routine audits of facilities work practices and work-in-progress to ensure regulatory compliance
  • 8Conduct annual safety risk assessments quantify risk exposure and prioritize corrective actions including contractor oversight
  • 9Perform Job Safety Analyses and ergonomic assessments to reduce workplace hazard exposure
  • 10Oversee contractor safety programs at client sites
  • 11Maintain OSHA logs and ensure compliance with injury and illness recordkeeping requirements
  • 12Execute and coordinate safety training programs aligned with client expectations and OSHA requirements
  • 13Ensure accurate documentation response for accidents incidents and near-miss events
  • 14Provide on-site medical response services including first aid emergency treatment and initial illness care
  • 15Coordinate local case management including medical transportation and workers compensation processes
  • 16Maintain and update facility safety policies as part of an Injury and Illness Prevention Plan meeting OSHA standards
  • 17Communicate safety information and lead training programs to educate employees on occupational safety principles
  • 18Champion SCT’s 4E’s philosophy engaging enlisting envisioning and executing throughout client organizations
  • 19Participate in development and implementation of operational standards supporting lean principles and continuous improvement
  • 20Maintain satisfactory attendance punctuality and comply with all applicable quality environmental and safety regulations

Requirements14

  • 1Minimum of five years experience in construction or manufacturing environments supporting environmental health and safety operations
  • 2Willing to be on the road 100 percent of the time
  • 3Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable ANSI NIOSH ACGIH and NFPA standards
  • 4High school diploma required college degree preferred
  • 5Certified Health and Safety Technician CHST required
  • 6OSHA 510 certification preferred Associate Safety Professional CSP preferred
  • 7CPR First Aid and AED certification required
  • 8Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 9Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • 10Bilingual English Spanish preferred
  • 11Physical ability to stand walk climb ladders and stairs see hear and communicate effectively
  • 12Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • 13Valid driver’s license required
  • 14SCT is a drug-free workplace
