Site Safety Professional
Overview
Lead site safety initiatives to foster a strong safety culture ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement across all facilities. This role focuses on managing safety programs training development and proactive risk mitigation.
What You'll Do9
- 1Manage the site/facility safety orientation program for employees contractors and other personnel
- 2Develop and coordinate job-specific safety training based on site activities hazards and regulations
- 3Coordinate routine and scheduled safety meetings addressing relevant topics
- 4Create comprehensive safety meeting agendas and maintain accurate minutes action items and attendance
- 5Conduct daily site/facility safety assessments and targeted inspections
- 6Document findings and track corrective actions through closure
- 7Identify unsafe conditions collaborate with leadership and contractors to implement corrective measures
- 8Perform root-cause analysis for incidents and recommend preventive actions
- 9Prepare investigation reports and maintain required safety documentation
Requirements5
- 15+ years experience in construction industrial manufacturing or facility safety
- 2Strong knowledge of workplace safety principles hazard identification and regulatory compliance
- 3Experience conducting safety orientations training inspections and incident investigations
- 4Ability to perform root-cause analysis and suggest corrective actions
- 5Effective communication with employees contractors supervisors and project leadership
