Overview

Lead construction safety across multiple Dallas area sites for a nationwide ESOP company. Own safety program development, audits, incident investigations, and training to protect crews and ensure OSHA compliance. Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, and Preconstruction to embed safety in planning and constructability. Travel locally to support project teams and drive a proactive safety culture.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and maintain project specific safety plans and site logistics plans to mitigate risk
  • 2Lead accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • 3Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training for employees and subcontractors
  • 4Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and enforce site safety plans and OSHA standards
  • 5Develop safety initiatives and best practices to improve overall safety performance
  • 6Track safety metrics, analyze trends, and report recommendations to leadership
  • 7Provide safety leadership in project meetings and throughout all construction phases
  • 8Support multiple project sites through regular local travel and field presence
  • 9Maintain safety documentation, audits, training records, and regulatory compliance
  • 10Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, and Preconstruction on safety planning and constructability

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 2Minimum of 10 years of construction safety experience in commercial environments
  • 3Direct experience supporting Data Center and Mission Critical construction projects
  • 4Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, and risk management principles
  • 5Experience conducting safety audits, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning
  • 6Demonstrated ability to influence employees, subcontractors, and leadership in maintaining a strong safety culture
  • 7Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentations and safety training
  • 8Ability to manage multiple project sites and priorities in a fast paced environment
  • 9Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software platforms
