Room Attendant, Hotel Housekeeping & Guest Service
Overview
You will own the cleanliness and guest experience for a Residence Inn property in Dedham, MA, handling up to 25 pounds of linens and supplies per shift. You will join a close-knit housekeeping team that reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper and coordinates with front desk and maintenance. What You'll Do8
- 1Change sheets, arrange towels, and restock toiletries in guest rooms after checkout
- 2Vacuum, dust, clean, and rearrange rooms to meet Residence Inn brand standards
- 3Inspect each room for damages, deficits, or disturbances and report findings to supervisors
- 4Handle guest requests promptly and professionally, maintaining a welcoming presence
- 5Follow IHG cleanliness protocols to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- 6Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while performing housekeeping duties
- 7Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly and 25 pounds frequently during shifts
- 8Adapt to variable schedules based on occupancy, season, and staffing needs
Requirements7
- 11+ years of housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar setting
- 2Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and stand for 8+ hours per shift
- 3Basic English communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- 4Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms meet brand standards
- 5Ability to work in stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitude
- 6Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 7Authorization to work in the U.S. and pass E-Verify verification
