Road Truck Driver FedEx Freight
Overview
Pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations. Own daily pre-trip and safety inspections. Hook and unhook trailers and converter dollies. Verify documentation and reports. Maintain accurate daily logs. Comply with hazardous material regulations. Follow dispatch instructions. May perform chaining of vehicle tires. Load and unload freight. Perform other duties as required.

Requirements11
- 1Class A Commercial Driver’s License with double/triple endorsements
- 2Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed
- 31 year driving experience within most recent 3 years
- 4Successful completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course
- 5Valid Motor Vehicle Record
- 6Meet all Department of Transportation regulations under section 391
- 7Long Combination Vehicles operation in specified states
- 8Ability to lift approximately 100 pounds multiple times daily
- 9Physical stamina to sit for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- 10Basic written and verbal communication skills
- 11Demonstrated initiative and motivation
